Matthew Fairthorne has over 14 years of experience in insolvency and superior knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of formal insolvency administrations and the relevant requirements of the Corporations Act 2001, the Bankruptcy Act 1966 and the ARITA Code of Professional Practice.

Offering advanced analytical skills in financial data and financial reports, Matthew accurately establishes the financial position and performance of a business and enables the tracing of funds and detailed investigations to be undertaken into transactions. He has a high level of knowledge of general accounting principles and standards along with Australian taxation legislation.

Matthew is highly qualified with a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA) from the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ) and a Bachelor of Business Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. He is also a Professional Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association.
