ERIC SUN | DIRECTOR – CORPORATE FINANCE

Eric Sun is a Director of Byrons and has extensive experience in all areas of Corporate Finance and Advisory with an emphasis on public listing, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory.

Having established and maintained long-term relationships with corporates, business owners and investors, Eric has a track record of executing and completing local and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Byrons, Eric Sun was the Director and Head of IPO of an Australian national investment banking group. In this role, he has successfully helped large private companies, foreign SOEs, publicly listed companies, and investors achieve a variety of funding, Mergers and Acquisitions, and strategic targets, and completed a number of IPOs on the ASX as the Lead Manager and Corporate Advisor.

Eric also specialises in assisting early stage, growth companies from emerging industries to develop business strategy, execute business plans, get investment ready, raise capital, and execute exit strategies (e.g. IPO or trade sale). He constantly seeks innovative ideas and opportunities from around the world and aims to identify exceptional entrepreneurs and support them on a successful journey.

Eric’s clients include public companies listed on the ASX, HKEX, NASDAQ and other major stock exchanges, large private companies, foreign state-owned enterprises, and fast growing start-ups and unicorns based in Australia and New Zealand, USA, China, Singapore, Israel, Germany and more.

Eric speaks fluent English and Mandarin. Eric’s professional qualifications include holding a Bachelor of Science (Pharmaceutical Science) degree from Fudan University in China, and a Master of Professional Accounting degree from University of New South Wales.
