Desmond Teng is a Corporate Recovery specialist with an excess of 16 years of experience in all types of formal and informal corporate and personal insolvency administrations.

He is fluent in written and verbal English, Mandarin and Malay, is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a registered liquidator by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. He is also a Professional Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association.

What sets Desmond apart is his experience in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency. With a focus on solutions, he advises enterprises facing financial distress to formulate and execute realisation strategies for real property and business assets, as well as managing stakeholders including secured lenders, creditors and directors.

His substantial experience has also meant he has prepared independent expert reports and acted as an expert witness in Supreme Court actions, involving investigations and analysis of company records, complex transactions and financial statements.

Additionally, Desmond extends his experience to monitoring, restructuring, workout assignments and Investigating Accountant roles in a range of industries for major banks and other financiers, credit committees and other stakeholders.
